How much are sesssions?

Sessions are $200 and up, and we offer financial assistance for those that need it.

How long are sessions?

Individual and family sessions are 50 minutes long. Group sessions are 75 minutes long.

Can I use my insurance?

We are an OON provider and can provide a superbill to seek reimbursement for services. Many insurance companies will provide reimbursement.

Why group therapy?

Group therapy is often more impactful than individual sessions and can be a fraction of the cost. It can sound scary to talk in front of a group, but the facilitator/s will help everyone feel safe and relaxed. In groups, participants are learning not just from the facilitator/s, but also from each other. The level of support and belonging goes beyond what individual therapy can offer.

What is CBIT?

Comprehensive Behavioral Interventions for Tics is the recommended treatment for Tourette and Tic Disorder. It is a management strategy with a very high success rate for decreasing tics. Since there is no cure for Tourette and tic disorders, those impacted can learn to decrease their overall stress, and practice suppression techniques to use at their will. Children can be taught the techniques as young as 8 or younger depending on their willingness.

Why even try therapy?

Being a human is complicated and sometimes life throws us a curveball, or a string of them! Therapy can help us figure out the best steps forward. We have tools to share so that life can become easier.

How are parents involved in their child's therapy?

If it's appropriate, parents will be asked to join their child in therapy on occasion. This allows for the counselor to build off of the strengths in family and tailor sessions to goals created by the team.
